Manche Highland Games aus dem vergangenen Jahr sind entweder noch nicht "spruchreif" oder
werden in 2024 nicht durchgeführt.
Die Highland Games in Cupar wird es leider nicht mehr geben !

Mit großem Bedauern müssen wir mitteilen, dass das Komitee der Cupar Highland Games die sehr schwierige Entscheidung getroffen hat, sich aufzulösen. Die 1979 ins Leben gerufenen Spiele hatten sich zu einem festen Bestandteil des Sommerprogramms entwickelt, obwohl sie seit der Zeit vor COVID nicht mehr stattgefunden hatten. Trotz zahlreicher Appelle, bei der Organisation und Durchführung der Spiele zu helfen, blieben die Bitten unbeantwortet, so dass den verbleibenden Mitgliedern des Komitees nichts anderes übrig blieb, als die Spiele aufzulösen. In der Tat ein sehr trauriger Tag.
Trotzdem bleibt die Auswahl groß und vielleicht passt es jemandem gerade in die Urlaubsplanung mit rein.
